American Renewal is a grassroots initiative aimed at restoring faith in American democracy. We believe that true change comes from the people, not from within the broken system. Our movement seeks to implement practical reforms that address the root causes of political dysfunction.

Our Proposed Reforms

Reform 1: Campaign Finance Overhaul

Only individual citizens can donate
Donation limits: $6,300 per election cycle (primary/general combined)
$1,000 annual aggregate limit to PACs (if still allowed)
Real-time disclosure: online database of all donations
No donations from: Foreign citizens/entities, Federal contractors, Lobbyists

Reform 2: Voting Integrity

In-person voting only (exceptions: military/illness/disability)
Non-fungible verification: blockchain or similar technology
Voter ID required: photo ID or equivalent
Audit and recount laws: automatic for close margins (<5%)

Reform 3: Politician Accountability

Minimum age: 35
Citizenship requirement: born or naturalized US citizen
Term limits: 2 terms for Senators (12 years total), 6 terms for Representatives (12 years total), 2 terms for President (8 years total)
Lobbying ban: 5-year ban after leaving office
